From Chairman's Desk

Dear Professional Colleagues, Students and Staff,

As I pen my first communication to all of you as Chairman of Aurangabad Chapter of ICMAI. First of all I thank to the management committee members for voting me for the position of Chairman for the year 2024-2025.

I congratulate CMA Sanvedi Rane as Secretary, CMA Babasaheb Shinde as Vice- Chairman and PD Committee Chairman, CMA Akshay Dande as Treasurer, CMA Kiran Kulkarni Sir as Education and Training Committee chairman and CMA Vivek as Public Relation committee Chairman. CMA Parag Rane Sir as my mentor.

I believe that Chairmanship for the period 2024-25 is not only position but also responsibility. For accomplishment of responsibilities, I need full-fledge support and co-ordination from members, students and staff.

My goals for the period of Chairmanship as follow

  • To convert status of Chapter from “C” category to “B” category.
  • To conduct at least 24 CEPs.
  • To enrolled at least 1000 student for CMA Foundation, Intermediate and Final.
  • To start construction work of proposed New CMA Bhawan at Jalgaon Road.
  • To streamline working of Chapter.
  • To develop sources for branding and overall development of CMA profession.
  • To develop professional relationship with Govt-officials, other professional institutes, educational institutions and etc.

Achieving the goals is a big challenge. But I am confident that with support from all of you, we shall achieve our goals. For achieving our goals I want to work on principle of IGNITE, stand for Innovation, Governance, Nurture, Integrity, Trust, and Excellence.

I firmly believe that these core principles encapsulate the essence of our profession and the crucial role we play in shaping a future that is prosperous, responsible and ethical. I am confident that by implementing IGNITE as a strategic framework during the year, we will be able to take the profession and Chapter forward as a whole.

Innovation: Ensure continuous improvement and creative problem-solving which are essential to remain relevant and valuable in an evolving landscape, considering the rapid pace at which technology and systems are being adopted by the profession.

Governance: Building a strong foundation through transparency, accountability, and responsible decision-making to foster a climate of trust and confidence.

Nurture: Embracing sustainable practices that ensure environmental, social, and economic well-being for future generations is no longer a choice, but an imperative.

Integrity: The cornerstone of our profession, upholding the highest ethical standards remains paramount in building and maintaining trust with stakeholders.

Trust: It is the bedrock of a successful business relationship and the currency of the CMA profession. By demonstrating unwavering integrity and commitment to the public good, we earn the trust that allows us to serve effectively.

Excellence: Relentless pursuit of knowledge, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional value to clients and stakeholders defines our professional commitment to excellence.

At last I appeal to the all members to attend CEP programs and other programs arranged by the Chapter. I also appeal to the students for attending the lectures, participating in events and programs.
